Getting started
Who this is for: Dentists setting up their Artisan Lab USA portal account.
Time required: ~5 minutes (after you receive your invite)
Artisan Lab USA is invite-only
We don't have self-signup. Accounts are created by our team during onboarding, and you'll get an invite link by email. This keeps the portal aligned with our case-by-case service model and ensures pricing is set up correctly before your first case.
Steps
1. Request an invite
If you don't have an invite yet, go to artisanlabusa.com and use the Contact us form — or email us directly:
Include:
- Practice name + address
- Dentist name(s) who'll be using the portal
- License number (we use this to verify before activating)
- Approximate case volume (helps us set up the right pricing tier)
We typically respond within 1 business day with a kickoff call or directly with your invite.
2. Accept your invite
Once we send the invite, you'll get an email from noreply@artisanlabusa.com with a button labeled Accept invite. Click it.
The invite link goes to portal.artisanlabusa.com/invite/<token>. The token expires in 7 days — if yours has expired, email us for a new one.

3. Set your password
On the invite acceptance page, your name and email are pre-filled (set by us). You only need to:
- Choose a password (at least 8 characters; the strength meter aims for "Good" or "Strong")
- Confirm the password
- Click Accept invite & sign in
You'll be automatically signed in and redirected to the dashboard.
4. Complete your profile
Click Profile in the sidebar. Fill in any fields we didn't pre-set:
- Phone number (used for SMS case status updates if you opt in)
- Practice address (if not pre-set)
- License details (sometimes pre-filled from your invite request)
5. Add a payment method (if required)
Your account billing policy is set during onboarding:
- Prepay or autopay orgs: you must add a card before submitting cases
- Net-terms orgs: payment method is optional but recommended for one-click invoice payment
What happens next
Once your profile is complete and (if required) a payment method is on file, the Submit a case button on your dashboard becomes active.
The Getting Started Checklist on your dashboard shows the remaining steps with green checkmarks as you complete them.

Troubleshooting
- "My invite link doesn't work" — most common reasons:
- Link expired (7-day window). Reply to the invite email or message support@artisanlabusa.com and we'll resend.
- Link already used (each invite can only be accepted once). If you forgot your password after accepting, use Forgot password instead.
- Browser is blocking the redirect — try a different browser.
- "I never received an invite email" — check your spam folder; add
noreply@artisanlabusa.comto your safe senders list. Still nothing after 30 minutes? Email us. - "I can't see the Submit a case button" — check the onboarding checklist on the dashboard; one or more required steps is incomplete.
- "I work at multiple practices" — let us know during onboarding. We can link your user to multiple organizations.
- "I'm an office manager, not a dentist — do I need my own invite?" — yes. Each user has their own login. Ask the dentist or org owner to request an invite for you via support@artisanlabusa.com.
